When I first arrived at Jäger und Gejagte, they just had a logo with no guidelines or manual. I then started to test the logo, slightly redesigning it by improving its curves, angles and readability. The next step was them to start decomposing the full badge in elements that could also serve as alternatives for their main Brand such as using only the text or the deers figure to represent the brand in different situtations.

As time passed, it was required from me to create some material for the agency and without the Brand Guidelines, I started playing around with those different elements throughout the documents that were being generated. Take as an example this Keynote presentation. The first screen uses just the Textual representation of the Brand, aligned with a smooth film of a natural setting, which represents the brand's wild enviroment. Other details such as a wooden texture in the elements of presentation started to stand out.

In another situation we had the task of making an AD for a Liechtensteiner Newspaper and do so by exposing as directly as possible the brand's atmosphere. Our target was acquiring a Bank as a client and so we had to do it sober and tastefully. The elements of the original logo were here distributed along the piece, with the deer being craved in wood that suggets a table and a newspaper branded with the agency in a business-like setup.

When it came the time to rethink the stationery material of the agency, the logo was then fine tuned from scratch up and then applied in different ways (mixing the elements) throughout a whole set of paper material from Quotes to Pencils to envelopes. In the button by the end of this page you can see check a PDF with the brand guidelines and some of its applications such as t-shirts and wallpapers.
