e-Magazine
Cliena e-Magazine is an enhanced e-Booklet version of the clinic's yearly reports. It was made in order to be an interactive magazine displaying articles, charts and maps. While the articles follow the original print version styles, the maps and charts were originally designed.

When Clienia brought in the challenge of converting their annual report to a more digital experience, we quickly visualized an eMagazine that would be a hybrid of their original format (print version) and the addition of new interactive elements and graphics.
In the images below you can have an idea of what was the clinic's original material. A straigh forward magazine with texts and images in green and black. We have then used many references of digital magazines to start rethinking the organization of this content in a smarter way for the digital version. Some articles were located in scrollable tabs where the whole content, others gained videos, the locations of the clinic (image n.5 from left to right) were placed in a click-through map.
As in the formats of a website, a top menu was added throughout the whole structure of the eMagazine - which was designed in iBooks Author. A whole UI and UX experience was built in order to provide people with the best of both worlds - the user would have access to the whole information as before, but in a better package, with add-on pop ups and same-page scrolls.
New Elements
Besides the original elements, color palettes and typography, a whole new set of elements such as maps, infographics, icons and 3D charts were added to the final product. A video of instructions was produced to be inserted at the beginning of the eMag (upon activation) explaining the user how to manipulate the Mag in iBooks. Those elements brought an experience that justifies the transmutation of the report into an interactive one.
