Swica Direct Mailing is a contest hotpage redesigned in order to generate engagement among the clients of the health ensurance. It aims at gathering information in a quick manner at the same time that it entertains the user with the possibility of a win.
Webdesign / Video Production
Swica first came to us with the proposal of redesigning its Direct Mailing page. It is a simple logical page where the user provides information and clicks to win a prize. While the click-to-win logic was easy to figure out, its UX and UI would need to take a modern approach in order to attract the user to go through the whole process of the contest page.
Since the site needed to be responsive, a first issue in the UX was found: the prizes (of the loss of them) would appear to the user in the form on a badge that was attached to the page's animation in the center. It was difficult to reposition the badge and align it with the tree animation while still displaying important information in smaller screens. It was decided then that this old fashioned animation (which happened during the time the user pressed the button to run for the win) would be replaced by a subtle and more elegant tea transtion and that the prize information would be displayed at the same grid of the other info for consistency and usability.
In order to convey the idea of health, the briefing required that a video of the transition from water to tea would be produced in order to justifiy the passage of time from the moment the user takes action to run for a prize and the moment the prize is determined. An animation in After effects was then made and split into a sequence of pngs, replacing completely the old drawings. As for the UI os the site, we have designed an interfaced based on flat design and given it a lot of white space.
Move the arrow to right and left for comparison.
At last we have redesigned all the steps required in order to complete the sequence of the DM, starting by the insertion of the code, going through the form, the response to the successful aplication, the results display and the two other required tabs of Counseling and 10 reasons to choose the company.
